Another fun day teaching the Arizona Business & Education Coalition (ABEC) construction trades class at 4th Ave Jr High. Today Pilkington Construction and Liggett Electrical Services helped students install electrical branch wiring in the garden shed. Thank you Issac and Alexis Liggett!!!

The City of Yuma Parks and Recreation team is proud to collaborate with the Liggett family to enhance the Stewart Vincent Wolfe Creative Playground (282 N 12th Ave) with the addition of a new inclusive play area.

What is an inclusive playground?
Inclusive playgrounds include everyone. They are thoughtfully designed playgrounds that provide a safe place where children of all abilities can play together, and are developmentally appropriate for children with and without disabilities.
A truly inclusive playground takes away barriers to exclusion, providing a positive experience for all.
